I have met many. Ryan, Adam/Stuart and Stuart's wife Marian from AMC at a hotel at Universal Studios. I met one of Erica's husbands, Tom Cudahy in a mall. I met Duncan McKechnie (A character from As the World Turns) at a Honolulu night club many years ago.
I met the entire cast of GH at the Universal Studios Hard Rock Cafe after a Soap opera digest awards show. They were wonderful.
I met all the characters from the cancelled Sunset Beach from about 9 years ago. I used to help organize an annual fan get together for them for about 3 years.
They are all just very everyday people. Some people are so thrilled to meet them, but I guess the more you see them, the more you realize they are really no different than you and I. They are all just human and the more you treat them that way, the better they respond.
A friend of mine asked a guy to take our picture at the Soap Opera Awards show. He was thrilled. He said something like this is different. All of a sudden he was mobbed. He was a major character on Guiding Light and neither of us watched it. You could tell that he liked being treated like a normal person though.
I've met Antony Cotton ( corrie) he lives not far from us and visits the local post office were I work quite often, also Jane Danson has been in the shop a couple of times ~ shes just lovely.

Yes, I met Robert Newman (Josh, Guiding Light) at a Golf Tournament Benefit a few years back....I had been drinking a bit and I told him I thought he was a great actor even though I had never watched his show. Hahaha

When he was on AMC I met Matthew St.Patrick who played Adrian Sword, Tad's half brother and then went on to play Keith in Six Feet Under! He was the nicest man and much better looking in person. He had just come back from lunch and he had spilled chili all down the front of his white tshirt but he took it all in stride and took time to actually talk to the fans instead of just sign the photo and move them along. It was at Sears in the mall, it had to be 1999 or 2000.
me and my sis bumped into Eileen from corrie a few years ago in manchester, she just smiled and walked on.
I met Susan Lucci (Erica from AMC) when she was on Broadway doing "Annie Get Your Gun". She was amazing. She's so little. My friend is a "dresser" and we went backstage after the show with our passes.

Yes! I met GH: Patrick - very tall; Nicholas - laid back, and Elizabeth-- very, very petite and gorgeous skin and hair.
Oh, and I met Linda Dano when she was playing Felicia on Another World. She was very funny and chatty. I saw her outside the taping of the show when she was on a smoking break. It was fun to talk to her.
2. My mom & I met Josh Duhamel when he was Leo on All My Children. I think it was 1999? then we met Cameron Mathison the following year at a Sears near our house. both are taller in person & WAY hotter! OMG! and Cam...his body is soooo nice to put your arm around...hee hee!

I met Mark Consoleous (Ex-Mateo, AMC) during a personal apperance he made at my local mall in around 1996.
I have also met Ricky Paull Goldin and Ron Raines when my college TV class took a set tour of "Guiding Light" set and lastly i met Kelly Ripa when i attended a taping of her now defunct sitcom "Hope & Faith".
Many years ago I met the actor who played Cord Roberts (OLTL) He was very nice.
