GH fans.. if you like Ric, please explain why you do?!

i have my moments with him. i liked when he put liz on the stand and ripped into her. i wanted all her secrets to come out but instead she perjured herself. i like that he doesnt kiss sonny or trevor's asses like so many ppl do. my favorite soap characters are the ones who are flawed and complicated. and ric is definitely both. he wants to do the right thing and u can see there is a battle within him and more often he fails and does the wrong thing. sonny is not always right, and i do feel sorry for ric that he got the short end of the stick in their family. i also felt bad for him when liz slept with and got pregnant for zander cuz he did love her and probably still does.
i only hated ric when he was with alexis and he tried to take molly from her. and when he slept with sam and tried to hurt her and use her on the stand against jason.
I didn't like him before, but he's sweet with Marianna.
Ric is definitely a heel...seems like theyre trying to turn him into some type of fan favorite making him a hero with this marianna thing...but it bores me and i fast forward through it.

there is something about Ric that is evil and maniacal but he can be sweet and loving there is a lot of Gray with Ric as where with Sonny it is all black and white that is why I love jerry too, you don't know if he is good or bad or even who he is really...I don't have a real reason I just like him.
I never liked Ric until Trevor joined the show. Since Trevor joined the show I feel like the Ric character has started to develop more depth. I'm still not a huge fan, but I do like him better now. Now Trevor, Trevor gets on my last nerve, someone needs to shoot him and be done with it. Arrogant a**hole!
I agree with that, I didn't like him when he first came to town, he did horrible things to Liz and Carly and got away with them. The only thing good about him is he is a good dad, tries to be, when Jerry called him he did drop everything to come home to check on Kristina who isn't even his daughter, I thought that was decent, he didn't say he was going home to take care of Molly so Alexis could be free he said his stepdaughter needed him. When he was with Alexis he tried to be good and a little of that shows sometimes! He is hot though too!
Ric is Slim
I like Ric for the simple fact he cant beat his brother. He tried to step in when he and sonny became friends and he treid to take Jason's number 2 spot and was put in his place. For the fact at any giving time Ric can be like all of Sonny's enmies a distant memory.
