Does anyone remember when 'The Simpsons' was funny?!

I do too! And I feel the same way....so old. The only thing that makes me laugh as much as the Simpsons used to is Family Guy.

There are usually one or two funny lines but, in general, it doesn't seem to be as funny as it used to be.

there still cool but they arn't *** funny as they used to be i agree with you on that................plus family guy is only taking what the simpsons did and making it more funny because it is a newer show so they have more ideas the simpsons on the other hand have been running for more then 18 years will be 19 years this December 17th but hey there still funny the movie was halarious :D

Nope, I've always hated it.
It is sad, I wish they'd cancel it and go out on a good note, but I guess their past their due. I don't even watch it anymore. And yes, Family Guy makes me laugh like I did when the Simpsons came out.
i have a ? is right. i's more random now then it used to be, but maybe because of family guy getting better ratings, they were trying to live up to it, and family guy sure is random :p

I do. I remember when it first aired. The Simpsons' has been on for 20 years, and after so long you run out of ideas. I think everyone loves Family Guy because it's fresh, new, and the show is bolder than the Simpsons' are.
I remember when,"eat my shorts", had some kind of comedy behind it. Now everything is just overused some much it's just another recycled sitcom with occasional ridiculous situations. I remember when the Simpsons were just a 30 second short cartoon before commercials on the, "Tracy Ullman show". If that doesn't age me I don't think much else will except,"where's the beef".
I think the simpsons was at its best in the first 3seasons its still funny but the story lines arent as good and theres always a gay happy ending in the new ones!!!!!!!!!!!
When was that? I've never seen anyone laughing at that show.
