Are they going to make stargate SG1 the complete series into a blueray set?!
Question: No news or rumors at this point. Now that the HD format war has ended I would suspect to see more TV Shows and Movies that were previously not in any HD format to be offered in Blu-Ray now. Things like Star Gate, and other TV Shows, have a specific auidence. It's not like a big Hollywood movie that people have been waiting to see. The people who will buy Star Gate will buy it anyways. Upconvert DVD players do a really great job and I was just watching Season 10 the other day on mine and it was fantastic. If we see anything it will most likely be just in time for Christmas. Nothing makes people rebuy things they already own like the Holidays.

They'll probably wait until they think they've sold enough of the regular technology. Then they'll release the bluray, so everyone will have to buy them again.
I'm kind of becoming a cynic where technology is concerned.
They're all out to make you spend as much money as possible on stuff that really doesn't need to become obsolete.
