Does anyone know why South of Nowhere is cancelled?!
Question: Rumor has it that the show may be cancelled due to a few reasons.
1) The-N is trying to change direction (demographic) on it's "new" network. It wants to target more preteens (which is one of the reasons Best Years was discontinued).
2) *The show's heavy themes (aka homosexuality) is still being contested by adults who fear that their children are being "brainwashed"*.
The second reason is one i've been hearing since the shows conception. People think it is inappropriate to target teens and young adults with a teen homosexual relationship.
The reason Degrassi can do it is because it's not an American show...and America is ridiculous when it comes to taboos and censorship.
Supposedly this Friday we will hear in the new promo the words "series finale". Let's hope that fans can ban together and keep this show on the air.

on the n i dont think its cancelled...the new season is suppose to start soon from what ive seen...but iam not sure go check out the website www.the-n.com
The second half of Season 3 is scheduled to begin airing on April 11, 2008.
I don't know why it's being cancelled but I do know they;re going to air the second half of season three and that'll be the end of it. People are trying to keep it on the n being that it has the second highest ratings on the network. Hopefully they don't cancell it for sure. =[
