Allison had an allergic reaction and her throat closed so she couldn't breathe. Josh hit the emergency button and a nurse came running out and gave her a shot to make the swelling go down so she could breathe. She went to the hospital by ambulance but came back to the house after she was treated.
Amanda is hyperglycemic. Since she's on slop this week she wasn't getting a proper amount of sugar and she passed out and was also taken to the hospital.
These both happened the same day.
We were just reading about that... She hyperglycemic and on slop this week...so she's not getting any sugar. She ends up passing out and having seizures from it and has to go to the hospital...I didn't hear anything about Allison.
Amanda is hypoglcemic. She wasn't eating slop & her blood sugar got too low. Allison had an allergic reaction. They were both treated & are now back in the house.
I don't know why they switched from pb & j to that slop. At least pb & j has some nutritional value.

allison had an allergic reaction to the dijon mustard and/or mayo in the slop that another houseguest added.
her whole face swelled including her tounge and she had to rushed to the hospital. she says that doctors told her she almost died!

she just fainted and started to seizure because her blood sugar was so low, all this was caught on the live feeds!
she also went to the hospital right after allison!!
they are both back in the house and doing just fine...thank goodness!!

Wait... I didn't think that Allison was on slop. Didn't her team win the challenge? And sexykmama...they put dijon and mayo IN the slop?! Nasty!
Well Allison had an Allergic Reaction to the slop she tested . The Dr's think it may of been because of the mayo or Dijon that was put in it. This link is her coming home from the hospital where she confirms this diagnosis.

Sadly enough if she had just ATE she would of avoided this. Slop may taste crappy but it is nutritionally balanced and thus will support a balanced diet. Healthy Blood Sugar and all.
Some have also claimed she was dehydrated. Well drinking water and eating slop would certainly have gone a long way to resolving the problem.

Thankfully both girls are back in the house and fine now. Allison's allergic reaction was certainly a very dangerous situation for her. Having your mouth and tongue swell to the point you can't breath is just horrible I'm sure.
