She was Niamh Musgrove in Brookside........The Irish family who's Son Luke was a Rapist. It took me days to figure it out as well !!

    I didn't see it but if Carole E (▲) is correct it was Jacqueline Leonard who played Lorraine Wicks in Eastenders - she was Joe Wick's mum. Joe was played by Paul Nicholls - a fine actor!
