Stone from General Hospital?!
Question: Do you remember the 1995 Stone and Robin drama on GH? He died from Aids and infected her with HIV? Well I watched the old episodes on You Tube and have a lingering questions. Do you think they would even have made it work? He was a street thug and she was college bond. They were only 18 and 20. I think she was his rock, and helped him thru the illness. Do you really think they were soul mates?

You never know with first loves! They always stay with you,good or bad. There are probably too many ifs with them. If Stone contracted aids,if he could have moved away from working for Sonny,if they both had been a little older...but it didn't happen. She still speaks of him with love but he has never changed in her mind. Stone was faithful to Sonny too, would he have ever left him. Sonny named his child after him
I think Robin was looking for someone who believed in her, fully and without strings attached. She did, at least I believe love Stone, and the adventures they had together. Remeber the bungee jumping incident?
She was able to be more than just "Robin, the niece of Mac." She got to be Robin, young, in love, and full of life.
I think that she might have even been more attracted to him because he didn't come from the same social standered as her, so their days would be more entertaining, encountering each other's messed up worlds.

i really do.. stone was her first love...they had amazing chemistry.. she still talks about stone and i think if he were still alive they would be together.
I think so he had changed his life and wanted to be a better person. BUt, in the same breath, he was working for Sonny and would eventually had to do things that she may not agree with.
First love rarely lasts. Just look at Lucky & Elizabeth... Scotty & Laura... etc.
Unfortunately I was not watching GH at that time. I would love to watch Stone and Robin's story, I'm thinking about buying DVD edits so I can see it.
Of course I remember Ston and Robin. Their episodes on youtube still make me cry like the first time. They were totally in love and definetly soulmates. They would still be together if he had lived.
