South Park - How come Trey Parker is credited for directing and writing every ep!

Question: Trey Parker (Stan, Cartman) is credited for writing and directing.

Matt Stone (Kyle, Butters) is obviously critical to the series, but I guess Trey does most of the work?

Because Trey actually directs most every episode! Matt is actually credited for directing 3 or 4 of the episodes but that's it. Trey usually does it. And as far as writing goes, he and Matt go into a room with a few other writers, think up some ideas, and then Trey will go off in to his office and write the rest of it. Matt does a lot of stuff too, but Trey is more involved with the directing and stuff like that. And it's not just Trey's show, they both created it together. Matt was actually asked that question in an invertiew I watched on youtube, it was something along the lines of why don't you direct and Matt replied somethng like "I'm no good at directing and I think it's pretty big of me to let Trey do something he's good at." :) Hope that helped!

because it is his show.
