i was a little disapointed the movie focused more on the relationship between characters than between the main character and kitt the car was more of an afterthought. val kilmer as the voice of kitt was terrible very cold and sounded too much like karr kitts evil twin. Fords involement was terrible too every vehicle but 1 that appeared in the movie was a ford they did that with the show viper and it ruined it it is simply not real. However it was still good enough in my opinion to make the line up in prime time any night of the week if it is tweeked and brought back to its roots it could be a smash hit
I hope it becomes a series, but I would like to see a little reworking done to it first.
1) Get rid of the CGI. They used it even to show KITT driving down the desert at night. I couldn't believe how fake it looked.
2) Stop with the Ford commercialism. Yes, I know Ford had a huge, huge hand in this, but it was way too much. If Ford doesn't have as big of a hand in the series, if it becomes a series, I would like KITT to be sleeker looking, like the Trans-Am KITT was in the 80's. No badging what-so-ever for the first KITT.
I am going to watch it again tonight to see if my opinion changes any. I am even going to record it so I can watch it a third time to see if my opinion changes any.

Yes I watched it. I don't think it's going to be as interesting as the old knight rider, but I watched it anyway because I enjoyed the old knight rider. I love the car and the voice of Val Kilmer as KITT.
