the purpose of big brother is to make the producers a lot of money... the purpose of giving them money is incentive to get people onto the show... little do they realise there are plenty of random losers out there just like the ones they have on there who would still be willing to go on it even if there was no prize at the end.. its all quite sad really.. but think how much money the creators of big brother have made... insane amounts.. they have basically sold the rights to every single country and its a mad epidemic that people love.. mice in cages.. and anyway who wants people to see you in the toilet on national tv no thanks!!!

The purpose of it was for losers to get famous and to get high ratings to get more money its a pretty sh*t show
I love Big Brother...but it exists the same way that all other reality tv shows, Paris Hilton and commercial jingles exist....to take up wasted air space.
The purpose is to entertain people with a stuipd show and make lots of money on it.
i think the purpose of the show is to she how people reacted in very weird situations and and would they give up 3 to 4 months of the outside world to Winn some money and to meet some new people
To entertain us, a group of people we can laugh at when they come out and are forgotten in five minutes :)
