Is it just me or are the girls on American Idol this season....?!
Question: Is it just me or do you think that the girls this season arent that great?
i think there is more competion between the boys...

I think most of the girls are just good singers but none of them are amazing - the boys are fantastic - the Australian guy who lives in the US who sang Bohemian Rhapsody is great to watch and has a great voice, and i love David Archuleta the 17yr old, he's got a great voice and just has that special something really -- and the guy with dreadlocks is good, i think his name is Micheal Johns

The judges keep mentioning how the talent keeps getting better, but this year I don't see much talent on either side. I think what you are noticing are fewer girls then boys that have experience singing. But raw talent is what idol is supposed to be about. As things move along, I think you'll see it balance out more.
Actually the only guys I REALLY like are Michael and Jason C. Of the girls, I like Amanda and Brooke for personality and Ramiele and Carly for vocals.

I agree. The boys seem to be much stronger singers and just have much more carissma and personality. I almost think that some of the girls were chosen more based on their looks than on their singing ability.
you're absolutely correct, the boys are much better with their stage presence. the girls just kind of seem there, but don't seem like much competition.

I like Amanda ,the rocker chick ,but her song just wasn't great. Brook was okay. Nothing spectacular though.

It's still too early in season and there are too many I don't like.
The guys are definitely better than the girls.

there are only like two girls that stick out where as there are 4 that do in the boys
amazing talent for those who stick out though. (carly, michael, david a, jason castro, ramielle, danny)
