the bbc website just says it's in production and if you watched the season 2 finale, you would have heard the person say at the end that season 3 will return sometime in 2008, they gave no specific date. if you go by the start date for season 1 (7th October 2006) and season 2 (6 October 2007) season 3 will probably start in October 2008.
