Why were Martha & Brandon (Belle & Shawn) fired from DAYS?!
Question: They were my favorite couple, and I just want to know why they are getting rid of them. I thought they were actually one of the best on the show.

The writers & producers are trying to get Days "back on track" and they are trying different things with the show. Mostly bringing back old characters and trying new kinds of story lines. I think they did what they could with Belle and Shawn (for now) and just don't have the money to pay the actors to be "recurring" (showing up sometimes.) Besides, the actual actors popularity is not actually all that high.

apparently even they arent really sure why they were let go. i think the couple of shawn and belle are great but im sorry to say i dont share your fondness for the two actors who were playing them. i thought the original two were the best.

The Characters Belle and Shawn should stay on Days but with different actors. I miss the old Shawn--Jason Cook. I know that they wanted to age him some what but this other actor looks mad at the world all of the time. As far as the girl that plays Belle she really needs to go also. I do not care for either actor. I also miss the old Clair. The twins that were playing her were absolutely adorable.
are u serious, I watch days occassionally and I always fast forward to scenes with them in it.they fired them? I guess I'm done with the show then.
DAYS is having to get rid of people b/c they don't have as much money as they used to, a lot of the soaps will be cleaning house so to speak.
