Do you find TV adverts a little misleading?!
Question: I do. for starters the new McDonalds ad where the woman eats a bit of one burger & then a bit of another. I mean, the camera looks at her as if she hasnt chewed her food or anything!!!
what about the galaxy ad? when the woman eats one piece of galaxy without even biuting it? I mean, anyone did that they would choke!!!
What about when you buy something & it looks big & when you see it on the shops its tiny?

yes they are i'm constantly trying to tell my kids that most toys are not as great as adverts make them look!

All the time, everyone is just trying to make their product sound the best, it's not about truth anymore
They are incredibly misleading. So much that I don't even pay attention to them because what they say is never true.
How disappointing that companies need to lie to sell their product.
Well, yeah...that's their job. A lot of the food that you see in those ads (the stuff that looks great, but isn't eaten) isn't really food, but wax models of food.
Yeah it's true in every case. How about those stain removal products ads (vanish!), they are really unrealistic.

Yes all of them are, that's why they are adds but then just ignore them.

Are you suggesting that, as a society, we be allowed to know what the product being sold will be like BEFORE we buy it?! Blasphemous! Don't you enjoy the disappointment of thinking you're going to get a delicious meal like you saw in an ad, and then voila! You get the crappy version that some average joe getting paid 5 bucks an hour put together, rather than the advertising exec who gets 60,000 a year!! If only everyone made food like those advertising gurus...
They are not so much a rip off as misleading. If you believe all the ads then where can I buy a car that transforms? or one that can fly? How come I can't get out of my car and just change the scenery? Why don't I look thin after two weeks on cornflakes? If I drink hot chocolate why am I not floating or surrounded by bubbles of chocolate? See what I mean?

All ads are a rip off. They are solely designed to make you feel lacking in some way so you will buy a product and make them a lot of money. The mantra for this age is this - EVERYTHING IS MANIPULATED.
well i dont eat the poop meat that resturants serve, so i dont care.
They are there to fool and brain wash you, they know most of the population are so gullible, it attacks them, i just laugh they don't fool me i am no sucker. dont believe what you see or hear.
