Do you think contestants on the Price is Right shouldn't be allowed to bid $!
Question: I've been watching the show for a while,and everytime they do this,I'm just waiting for the other contestant to smack them. I heard originally they had to be $20 over,but they changed the rule. It's so lame when they bid $1 over because it effectively eliminates the other player. I say it's cheating. Although I absolutely love it when someone bids $1 over the $1 over contestant,knocking him/her out too!! haha

Yea I don't like that much either, A $20 rule sounds good. I remember one time the first person bid whatever, the second person upped it by $1, and the third and fourth person did the same, so the bids were like $699, $700, $701 and $702 or whatever it was. But the stupidest part? People should have already known who was going onstage, because if it were any of the first 3, we would have heard the exact bid bell. Yet the crowd still seemed in anticipation.

I disagree, If the first contestant wants to they could bid more, sometimes they are low balling, so that's what they get
i think they should let them do it still. they don't always win when they bid $1 over someone else.
its not fair to the one who bid 1 less...the other player who bid 1 dollar over is just desperate! It should be a rule that u cant bid 1 dollar over. Thats just mean. the person who bid $1 over just cant think of their own......
