Question: So on todays episode (2/22/08) there was this girl, who seems to be associated with Steve, lurking around the hospital, and sent a card to Steve threatening his and Kayla's unborn child... Who is she and what is her and Steve's history?

I am assuming that she is the girl he was seeing before he came back to Salem. He was with a woman when Kayla found out he was alive and tracked him down, it is probably her. According to the DAYS message board he promised to get married and have babies with her, so now she is not going to allow him to have a baby with anyone else, i.e. Kayla.
the girls name is Ava, we do not know anything about their past yet. it will all come out soon.

That is Ava played by the wonerful Tamara Braun, all they have said is she has a past with Steve.

Interesting. Eva? I was speculating that maybe she was the one that we saw in that bar when they first found Steve and brought him back to Salem. There was a female hanging around Steve back then. I don't exactly remember what she looked like. But whatever, you know the writers are going to have a great time with it!
