How long do you think American Idol will last?!

Indefinitely. I don't see an end to Am Idol for many years.
If and when American Idol goes off the air, something similar will replace it.

Oh trust me, it will be around even longer.
As long as they are making lots of money (which they are,) we will be seeing a lot of idols.
Every year American Idol makes almost billions of dollars to air. I don't think there going anywhere so don't worry finish school then try out.
Paula,sure looks like crap dont you think. 2010 is when their contract ends.
i was kinda surprised that American Idol has lasted this long, and because of that, i actually do think that it will probably be on for a while.

Besides........i dont think America will have TOO many singers, do you??? Think of all the musical artists you know. Never too many. =)
i think it'll end after season 10 because that is apparently how far the contract goes

It will keep going as long as it keeps bringing in money and keeps making successful stars. As long as people are interested, it will stay on. Personally, I think it will still be on in 2012, but you never know.

I think it'll go on until everyone's been on the show and there's no one left at home to watch it :p
