I watched last night's programme and thought it was remarkable. Poor Adam's story was particularly poignant and I wanted to find out more about him and go and visit him. I was shattered when they said he had been found dead. Why had his parents stopped visiting him? He was such a lovely lad - eloquent and intelligent. How could his parents have left him to suffer on his own. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Thought the whole programme was excellent!

I switched it off after a few minutes. did that tourettes guy kill himself? How sad, he seemed like such a nice guy. Shame.
Gutted.. had to miss it. Though did see an earlier interview with the woman whose idea it was to make the film/documentary...Sue. She said his death occured by misadventure... extremely sad from what I could gather...all alone with no support. I'm really hoping it will be available on catch up TV tomorrow. The interview gave the impression it would be quite fascinating.

i watching it now on channel 4 plus 1. its really sad that people can live so close yet be so lonely.
I only watched a bit of it, as the wife was shouting about dinner's ready from the kitchen.
I now fully appreciate that Britain is a nation occupied by weirdos.
Being close up to my own life-style, I don't think of it as weird. But I bet if it was ever put on film, people would just look at it with their mouths open in total disbelief.
