Question: Maxwell "Max" Brady (birth name Maxwell Becker) is a character on the soap opera Days of our Lives. He is currently being portrayed by Darin Brooks, who has played him since June 21, 2005 to present.
Character history
Max Becker escaped from his abusive father Trent Becker at an early age. He was taken under the protective wing of then Frankie Donner, now Frankie Brady. Frankie and Max made their way to Salem. They were taken in by kind-hearted Steven Johnson and his wife Kayla Brady Johnson. Frankie and Max were legally adopted by Kayla's parents Shawn Brady and Caroline Brady. The boys gained brothers Roman Brady and Bo Brady and sisters Kimberly Brady and Kayla Brady. Shortly thereafter, both boys left town.
In mid-2005, more than a decade later, Jennifer Horton Deveraux ran into Max at the racetrack and renewed ties with both him and Frankie. Once back in Salem, Max was immediately drawn to Chelsea, his adoptive niece.
When Chelsea was blamed for the accidental death of Zack Brady, Max stood by her side and kept her dark secret for as long as possible. Max eventually broke up with Chelsea, feeling she was too immature for him. He briefly dated fellow racer car driver Stephanie Johnson, who also happen to be his adoptive niece.
Max then started briefly dated his nephew Shawn-Douglas' soon-to-be-ex-wife Mimi. They are both getting very close and the heat has risen several times. Max went to his garage to pick up on some behind work where he found Abby. He asked her what she was doing there and she told him she knew he needed her. So thankful for what Abby did he takes her out to dinner without Mimi knowing. Max talks about all of Mimi's trouble and he tells Abby he doesn't know what to do with his life. Abby admits how jealous she was when she rescued Max and Mimi from the basement and saw them kiss. She tells Max she has had a crush on him for a long time. Max admits he liked her when she first started working at the garage but was afraid to ask her out because of their eight year age difference. Abby says that Max is now with Mimi. Max tells her he knows that he cares about Mimi and wants to be there for her, and that he guesses that Abby and he have missed their chance.
After Mimi left, Max briefly dated Abby Deveraux, who left town to live with her parents in London. Max is currently single.
Jeremy Horton convinced Max to become his financial banker for Touch the Sky Airlines and also for his side business of smuggling of what he believes to be designer clothes. This isn't the case and Max is doing some undercover detective work to find out what Jeremy is really doing

Max and Frankie were homeless or something and Shawn and Carolyn Brady adopted them.
Max was adopted by Caroline and Shawn so hes Roman, Kayla, and Bo's adopted brother. He is in no way blood related to Stephaine.

Max was immediately intrigued by teen Chelsea, and the two got hot and heavy in his car before Max returned to the Deveraux home to find that his older brother Frankie had tracked him to Salem. He soon got romantically involved with brother Bo's daughter Chelsea, and when Chelsea was responsible for the death of young Zack Brady, he kept quiet. The truth eventually came out, and Chelsea and Max were not able to weather the storms that followed as Max soon realized that Chelsea was too immature for him. After a brief, but unfilled, relationship with his niece Stephanie, decided to focus on his work.
Max soon hired Chelsea's best friend Abby to work at the garage, and she developed a crush on Max, and he finally admitted that he had feelings for her as well, the two began to see each other, much to the dismay of Abby's family, who thought Max was too old and too experienced for Abby.
When he and his brother Frankie were kids, Shawn and Caroline adopted them. They also adopted Kayla.
