Is Big Brother a good show? When I heard about it, it sounded like the Real Worl!
Question: I keep hearing about this show The Big Brother? Why is it called that? Although I have never seen it, when I glanced at a description of it, it sounded like a The Real World only with more people? Is that correct? And would you recommend me to watch this show or not. I think it is on tonight

I watched last season of Big Brother for the first time--I never got the hype before. But I must say I reaalllly enjoyed it and found myself getting emotionally invested. It's different from the Real World because there's an actual game involved and there's more diverse contestants (age-wise). It's not just a bunch of drunk college kids partying and having sex. I actually found myself getting really anxious during the elimination nights 'cause I didn't want my favorites to get voted off.

I have always been a fan, but I find this season's pretty boring....it is a lot more like Real World than Big Brother has been in the past. I'm pretty disappointed.
It is on tonight at 9 at my house (eastern). It is alot like Real World but you are right with more people. This year, they have partners to work with. So, they have to agree on everything and they will get evicted together. It used to be more interesting with people of all different races, religions, socioeconomic status, etc. Now it is just a bunch of horny drunk twenty somethings bitching about each other. Dont really recommend watching it, but you could try if you want. You might like it better than me.
its called big brother cuz the 16 contestants live in a house that has several camera and mikes alot of them hidden. the cast has a challenges to go thru to see who becomes head of house hold (hoh) and for food/previlleges. they are shut out from the outside world during the duration of the show.(that makes it different from real world.) it has its good seasons and some really boring seasons. i'm trying to get into the current 1 but i'm feeling it.
there alot of ppl in a house and they do competitions to win stuff if u watch survivor its a lil like that except they live in a big house and they dont do as much challenging competitions
