Question: I swear as my husband and I are watching tonite's show we both are sure that Paula is drunk or on drugs - head side to side bobs, slurred words, elbow pounding on the table, droopy eyes...Seriously, I am wondering if it me - us - or what??

Oh yeah, something's wrong with her. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but it seems something is going on with her. She's been like that alot lately.

It's not just you I feel the same way, but according to her it's the "medication" that she is on that causes her to act like that. I think that's a bunch of bull.
ummm.... she always is. I swear Simon slips her something in her drink so she'll be lethargic the whole show.

I actually it is just having to put up with another year of Simon that does this to her. I think it is a yearly deja vu. Take him out of the picture and I thin Paua would come off thoughtful and interpretive . With Simon ahe comes off flakey and spaced out.

It wouldn't be a season of American Idol if Paula wasn't semi-medicated on something. It brings a special sort of air to the broadcast.
What's with Simon's arm on the back of Paula's chair all night too? Maybe he is holding the back of her head up while she is whoozy on whatever she is indulging in.
i think shes always acts that way. Brain damage from all the chemicals she has been subjected to.
The woman has had seven neck surgeries over the years that have not fixed her therefore she is on medications to deal with pain that most people would be laid out flat for if they experienced it. She also has chronic insomnia so she is always tired. She is a sweet woman, I adore her and have alot of respect and compassion for her. I have yet to see another celebrity put their heart on their sleeve the way she does.
