WELL SAID MRS GLYN!!!
I'm with you all the way -- it lets the British public see what our BRAVE young men are up against every day - and not forgetting the BRAVE older men and all the women who serve in the armed forces. They all deserve our respect and support. The conditions they were living in, who among us would volunteer for such a life - it takes a special kind of person..
I agree Ross Kemp deserves an award, he really does show his support for our troops - and you deserve a star mrsc for you question : )

I thought it was another great series from the Kemp

i thought it was good hes a nutter i watched bits on you tube aswell

I thought the soldiers were brilliant too, and deserve the admiration of the world for what they have to put up with

yes i watched it,excellent series.i hope he does another documentary.

I've seen a few clips of it,...but it bores me as much as he does just being himself!

Pity they couldn't of blown him-up while they were out there!

He thinks he's a "hard man" just cause of his character in Eastenders,...( but he's not!) but that's all it was,...a "character"!,..he's a big wimp in real life and couldn't even defend himself when his real life partner gave him a whack!,...harsh,...but true!

I find it boring.

I watch it on a Monday and it really opens your eyes to, not only the conditions they live in, but the lack of air support, ammunition, safety equipment and above all, the dangers.

It was very moving, and I liked the way the Brits stood up for the Yanks on Blue on Blue attacks and criticised the British press for printing stuff they now nothing about!

Awards will come aplenty for this, it was excellent!
It's a shame people find it is boring watching our, some very young, men risk their lives against cowards who dress as civilians as opposed to a uniform, and hide in mountains with a great deal of ammunition!

although you know we have soldiers at war, watching this really opens your eyes as to what they go through. it is such a shame that our soldiers do not get the respect they deserve in this country. in usa it is something to be so proud of having a relative in the military. at disney world soldiers can go straight to the front of the queues and if they are wearing their uniform they get people wanting to shake their hands and applaud them as they walk by. they are treated like minor celebrities. here we rip ours of by making them pay taxes and tv licences even when they are abroad for months defending our country. if this programme earns them more respect then it definitely should win awards.

yeah i liked it... was very sad to watch the families go through what they did when the "blue on blue" incident happened. and the second episode at the end when they showed a soldier get killed. its deep. i do agree with him that they so need to get paid more. they should stop giving benefits to asssholes here and pay the soldiers more. and also have like a BIG parade every year for all those who fought in the wars and still are.

hanging the union jack outside homes is a good start, like the americans do.
