Do you think American Idol is getting old???!
Question: I love watching the audition episodes, but after that, the season gets kind of monotonous for me. I do get good laughs though with the people who think they can sing!

yes....very old its the same kind of style of singing and the same kind of look on the people.....the show needs to end now
I keep thinking it's going to get old one of these days, but I think the chemistry with the judges and Ryan, plus all the success the winner has is still pretty amazing.

Not old...but not as interesting as the first seasons i want it to keep playing until im old enough to go on it after that i could careless honestly

I started watching it in Season 5, and I'm not getting sick of it YET.
i would say it got old the second season. i mean how many american idols can you have. they should have named it american idolssssssss.
i have followed american idol since season 1 and everytime i thought that the next season was going to be boring but i still watched and everytime i got into it again because you hear great singers and want to know if they make it far or not. and its entertaining. you think that its always going to be the same thing every season but there are always some fresh faces and voices out there.
Noooo! I still love it every single time. I can't get enough and I just don't know why. I guess if you're not into the whole watching people sing and then getting kicked off thing, then it won't appeal to you, but I like to see people's dreams come true. Even if you don't win you can end up successful like Chris Daughtry, Elliot Yamin, Clay Aiken, Catherine Mcphee, Kellie Pickler and many more...

uhhh no. i think that that taylor hicks should have never won. i mean Chris D. got voted out like 5 people before him and he has ten times more success. He has a whole year of carrer making ahead of jordin sparks and she already has two hit songs and sang the national athem at the super bowl.
I hope this season fares better than the last 2,they were a little lame,only a handful of talent,the series seemed to peak when Kari Underwood won,but I am hoping for a renewel of interest this year,if this season is a downer my wife and I will be done with.besides ,there isn't anything any better on anyhow.

you know i always hated it when it came time for this show but my boyfriend is a idol freak so i had to watch it or at least listen to it and the thing about this show i think is when it first started comming on it was about people with real singing talent or people with no talent but now i think the judges have turned it into making fun of people and what they r wearing and what they look like etc. for this reason i think they should just stop making this show period.
