i love carly, she does bad things sometimes but in the end she is a really good person
Luke Spencer because I think Anthony Geary is a great actor and singer.
Luke, there could never be another.
My favorites are Jerry, Carly and Johnny.

Robin Scorpio.
Her character has never been recast- Kimberly has played her since she was seven.
She funny and smart, plus a great doctor going to be a great mother.
I love her story line with Patrick.
Gotta be the Legend: Luke Spencer, Anthony Geary is outstanding! He has been there through everything.
Kelly Monaco... aka Sam McCall. She is an excellent actress and I love her character. She has been through so much and it still doesn't bring her down!!!
Depends really on what you mean by character. Tony Geary is great at being Luke but then he should be! He can be sweet-grudgingly-comical, action hero, swindler,lover. I'm sure Kelly Monaco isn't as evil as Sam but she sure plays it well. Rebecca Herbst seems just like Liz, such a sweet good person--so is that really the same?

Luke! He's always been the best thing about the show. Had a hard time getting thru some of the years when he wasn;t around.
luke spencer. he has white hair and yet he is still hot. and he rocks an earring. luke is by far the coolest character on the show.
It has to be Luke.. I hardly watch it anymore unless I know that he's going to be on. I love the scenes between him and Tracy.
Michael Corinthos Jr., baby! Sonny is SO good looking and Maurice Bernard is a fantastic actor.
And I've gotta give it to Luke, as well. He is who he is...
Of course, it is Luke. Luke, I am your Father.

i love Steve Burton and the character he plays. i love when something emotional is happening and he has these feelings and they are so intense but reserved like when Sam's baby died or when Sam slept with Ric and she told him and he seemed calm and then wham the fury of Jason was released. gosh gets me every time.
though right now i don't like Jason too much, not just because i am a huge jasam fan but lately he doesn't show off all his different levels of acting. maybe its the pairing with Liz, but there are no fun or cute or sweet simple moments like he's had with his past ladies. i.e. when he and robin had their first kiss and tequila and dominoes with Sam
i also love spinelli and Sam, though they are completely destroying her
I'm trying to analyze the main character that makes me watch the show...I can't think of anyone other than Jason (steve burton). I don't think I need to explain why, if u watch the show, u already know.
i love me some spinelli. he is the most original and refreshing character on gh. he's funny but he also has a soft, sensitive side to him. he's also brave in an unconventional way. bradford anderson is a brilliant actor cuz those are not easy lines to pull off and still make the character believable.
First I love Jason, he is just so strong minded and reliable and lets not forget hot..Then it would have to be Nikolas, I love his character especially right now he makes it so believable.
Carly is another one I like and when she and Lulu have scenes together I enjoy the two so much, Lulu is a mini-me Carly.
Lately Diane and Alexis have been so fun to watch, it is nice to see adult woman actually having a normal type of friendship.
The one and only Luke. I wish they would give him more screen time.
Whoa...what a question! The best GH character...well, okay...let's break it down:
Jason Morgan: complex, dangerous, sexy as hell, protective, generous, loving, mysterious and would make an incredible doctor or police officer. I won't say "void of emotion" but he does keep those emotions in check as much as possible except when Elizabeth is around.
Sonny Corinthos: ditto from above but add volitale and subtract the doctor/police officer part. He's got a quicker temper than Jason does so he can get into more trouble. And add the family (Carly, Mike, Michael, Jax, Alexis, etc.) and you've got a whirlwind on your hands.
Elizabeth Spencer (should be "Morgan"): I think she's awesome...smart, beautiful, and at one time had that total 'innocence' thing happening for her. She would make a formidable foe. She's got Jason's heart and his son which could make her one thing...dangerous.
Carly Corrinthos Jacks: Oh, man...now *she's* a live wire. She does things the hard way...that mouth overloads her a** every time. <G> Don't get me wrong... I think she's awesome but still...she doesn't know when to shut up.
Diane is just hilarous...oh, yeah..she's incredibly tough, smart and beautiful and no, I wouldn't mess with her. One of my favorite characters.
Spinelli: 'nuff said.
Okay, so my favorite...do I *have* to choose just one?? Okay, Jason has my vote...always will.
