Why does neighbours on channel 5 look different?!
Question: Has anyone noticed that when you watch neighbours on channel 5 it looks different to how it did on bbc1?
Is it a different resolution or something?

i think it is because it's filmed now on film and not video tape
the same happened on casualty, apparently cellular film is different to video tape
how i have not seen it yet, is harold now a hunk? Is peppers an old witch, is mrs mangel come back ?
Praps your telly is set different are they all black or something, it may be due to the oz gov saying sorry to the abos and perhaps they replaced all the white totty with wittch grub eating natives of oz?
The reception of 5 on TV is not good unless you have sat-elite or cable or free view
because the picture on bbc1, is always more clear (satilite or not) channel 5 always has the pre recorded look (not sure of the technical names for it)
That would be the adverts, don't you think?
i dunno, i swear that it looks dimmer, or the camera has zoomed out. also the fact there is the "five" logo thingy at the top left hand of the screen.. and the adverts totally ruin it, 8 minutes into the programme! yep it does look different from bbc1!
