I watched it just so I could answer your question. It's just explained as that the male fairy has the child.
I think it's bad for children, but then again, people often let their children believe in a stork, so I guess it's just more for the parent to explain when the child gets old enough :)

True. Nick should have just aired it with Wanda pregnant because that's the normal thing to do. But, the whole show is so far-fetched that I don't think that the kids would honestly believe that. If they do, that's their parent's job to clear it up for them.
