Will Knight Rider return as a series?!
Question: I loved the show with David Hasselhoff back in the 80s. I enjoyed the 2 hr movie on NBC Sunday night. Of course, the movie leaves you hanging, wondering if it will return as a series. I've been on nbc.com to see if it's in development. I've checked the message boards as well. Most messages there are either support for the movie, whiners about the Mustang, etc. Does anyone know for sure if NBC is developing KR into a revamped series?

All I found was; Knight Rider is a television movie that serves as a backdoor pilot for a potential new Knight Rider series.
Oh -- I hope not. It was cheesy 25 years ago.
There have been plans to bring back Knight Rider as a series if the movie was popular enough. No decision has been made for sure.

I like the "new" Knight Rider concept and would probably watch the series if it was any good. I didn't see the 2 hour movie and I am upset i missed it.

I hope it returns - I loved the old show, and was very pleasantly surprised by the movie last night! If you missed it, it's on NBC again next weekend, Saturday night for sure, possibly Sunday also. Check your local listings!
