Did rebecca budig come back to AMC as Greenlee for the simple fact that she told!
Question: I am just wondering because she left and I thought she was asked to come back and said no more than once, so they found a new actress. I know fans don't generally take to a new person playing a popular character, but they way I understood it was that when Budig said she wanted to come back they fired the other lady. I am just wondering if this was the case.

I think some of Budig's fans bashed and trashed and complained so much about Sabine Singh that when Rebeccca said she'd come back, they just fired Sabine. I liked her best. I don't care for Budig and her buggy eyes and over-acting at all.
I saw a video on abc.go.com of an interview with Rebecca Budig. I think she said that when the producers approached her, she jumped at the chance.
I read somewhere that actress who plays Kendall wants to leave the show soon so they was able to get the original Greenlee to sign a year contract and then Kendell and Greenlee will leave the show together next year. I don't know if this is true just something I read a few months ago.

i hate the charactor of greenlee all together, but i hear she came back for the fans. there was rumors she was going to take the role of brenda on general hospital, but than vanessa marcils was suppose to come back, and than they extended las vegas...so gh got rid of the idea of bringing brenda back leaving rebecca free to come back to amc if she wanted.
