I dont belive men purposly try to pester us women, or neither we women pester men...we are just not compatible creatures!
I think it is called stalking, which is born from Obsession and mental instability.
It happens both ways though...
Yes, it is sad, it's sad for the person being stalked and also in a bizarre way sad for the stalker, because to sink to that level you really must have something very wrong with you.
I have been pestered by at least one woman in real life.
It's uncomfortable, but I think that it happens to most people at some stage.
The important thing is to be sympathetic to the person, but firm as well, as it usually passes in time.

Stalking ,by either sex, is an illness.Unfortunately too often it ends in serious hurt sometimes,death.
A number of reasons:
Pride and male ego.......never let it be said he can't conquer
Challenge......finds the woman a challenge
Genuine interest.......finds the woman interesting
Hope......thinks eventually she'll find him interesting
Love......has had his heart "stolen" by a disinterested woman and can't help himself
Addiction......addicted to being rejected
Mental illness......many version thereof
I could go on. And yes, it has happened to me, but more often I have had to "listen" to the other side. I worked in a prison.

In real life yeah this has happened to me, by a family member, FFS, they now have a 3yr interdict with power of arrest on it! PMSL

The stalkers back , No I must not joke on such a serious subject, whats been said above sums up my own feelings its very sad but that's the melting pot we all live in and theirs more good than bad in the world thank heavens for that. AMEN x x B
