Do you like Les Dawson's humour?!

I loved Les Dawson's humour ever since I first saw him on 'Opportunity Knocks' with Hughie Green, in 1967.
His humour from the start was so different to every other comedian around at the time, his dead pan face, his sarchasm about the surroundings and his never ending stream of mother in law jokes.
He became one of Britains best loved comedians, and his sketches with Roy Baraclough (Cissie and Ada)nin your link became an institution.
I loved his piano playing as well which is where he started from because he found he could get more laughs out of playing badly than well, here's a good example:

Yes, he was one of the best. I only need see his face and I'd crack up laughing
Yes I love it. Not sure it would work so well now but could be it would. Ta for the memory. I needed a laugh!?
Yes, i use to enjoy him when i was younger. Good comic and use to play the piano very well
yes they don't come with that humour nowadays.
Proper good old fashioned comedy at its best, in my view...
Over the fence was so true of many of my neighbours...
yes he was brilliant, never using bad language but he still made a lot of people laugh.

Not a big fan Plato, some of it was ok though.
He was OK in small doses, not really my cup of tea sorry.
Yes, he was very dry and witty, as were Morcombe and Wise.
In his time his dry humour was perfect . No doubt as times changed so would he. There will never be his like again.
I loved Les Dawson,i used to cry laughing everytime i watched him.
