Karen from Will and Grace voice change?!
Question: I know the obvous answer to this is that as they go along in the show they make changes. but man, i was watching earlier episodes and Karen's voice was almost normal and then she i guess was more of a drunk if possible and got whiney. bad spelling sorry. Jack too. did anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I noticed both of their voices got higher. I guess they thought that they would be funnier and more flamboyant that way. I liked Karen's voice better the way it was, though. When her voice got higher, it made her character seem more cartoon-ish.
It happened about the same time the actors won for supporting actors about five years (?) into the series. Yeah, and Karen started that snorty laugh ALL the time! there were comments from the critics at the time. I remember reading about it in TV guide and noticing it, too.
I sure did notice!
She must have wanted more out of her character, or it was more funny that way.
Like the episode where Jack and Karen inhale helium and Karen's voice stays exactly the same! haha
