Lost flash forwards confusing?!
Question: end of season 3 jack kept saying they werent supposed to get off, so are these flash forwards (in season 4 ep 1-3) what is happening because they got off early, or is it what will happen when they're "meant " to get off. if you get my drift.

it is supposed to be future events it is what happens after they get off the Island. I know its confusing because they keep going back and forth but the flash forwards are event that will take place in the future ( they are giving us glimpse of the future while we are in the present). the opposite of the flash backs that we saw. this is how we know who gets off the island and who the oceanic 6 are going to be. jack, kate, hurley, sayid, and some speculate that jin and clair will have flash forwards so that will make them the 6 who will get off the island in the future episode. I hope that clears it up for you?
