Could somebody please explain to me how Big Brother 9 is being played this year?!

From what I understand, if the writer's strike had continued, the competition would have went to individual competitions at some point and would have continued past 6 weeks. However, now that the writer's strike is pretty much resolved, the show is being shortened to 6 weeks. What I want to know is how will the winner be determined? Will it be the final couple left or what?
And yes, I agree with y'all....I do NOT like the couples thing.
It won't be 3 months. This is a filler show due to the writer's strike. I believe it's only going for 6 weeks.
It's only going to be for 6 weeks,but don't worry we will be getting our BB again in June,I'm not into this couple thing Can't wait till we go back to the old concept.
