as of now it's not the last season but they said that it might turn out to be but they said that chances are there's at least going to be 2 more after this if not more depending on how many of the actors get jobs other than the show i would die too if it stopped to so I'm on the same boat as u are

I'm 35 and I would watch that show on PBS when I was in High School. I had no idea it was still running.
Boy, do I feel old.
I think back then it was called "Degrassi Junior High." That was in the 80's......
