Question: Ok, as I understand only three contestants go on to fashion week right? so how come all five of them (finalists) showed their collections on fashion week? I don't get it, can you explain? Thanx.

They do this every year. Fashion Week occurs before the show's finale, so they do this so as not to spoil the surprise on the TV program. That's why Kara Janx showed at Fashion Week in Season Two.
The other two are there to keep us from learning who the final three really are before they're ready to air the finale.
Two of them were to show one piece from their line to break the "tie" that happened on the last show. One of them will them be picked from there.
Two of them were decoys so that no one will know who wins until the finale..
