If Sweet P didn't show, the media would have shown everyone that she would get eliminated.(Because she wasn't there) Because the info would come out before the next episode. So she was the decoy. Pretty smart of Project Runway actually!

fashion week is before the finale so they let her show at fashion week so one know who was eliminate. they do to to throw the media off.
They allowed her to show a collection so she would be a decoy. That way no one would know who the finalists actually were because the show hadn't reached that place yet on TV.
They've done it in other Seasons too. Season 1 it was Austin Scarlett who did the decoy line.
Sweet P's collection was a decoy..
