To all LOST fans: tell me something about SEASON 4. I am confused?!

Question: I am confused about the TV Series; LOST - SEASON 4 and I hope you can help me with it.

1) In Season 3 finale (last episode), Charlie went to the underwater base to turn off a device. What was the device for?? What was his last message to Desmond?? Why is that message important in Season 4??

2) In Season 4, Episode 1, there was a car chasing scene of Hurley (Hugo) with the police. Hurley was sent to the hospital for people having mental illness, where he met Charlie and a tall African-American guy. Are all this real or just another flashback?? Why was he telling Charlie that he's not real when Charlie went visiting him??

3) In Season 4, Episode 2, John Locke said he has been shot and he said Walt saved him and warned Locke that the rescuers had some evil plans on the survivor. In what episode was this scene occured??

4) THE MOST CONFUSING: In Season 4, Episode 2, a diver found the Oceanic flight sank on the seabed. The flight was still in 1 piece; the tail and the cockpit was still attached. But in Season 1, it was clearly seen that the flight was crashed landing on the beach, and in Season 3 shows the tail section of the flight crashed in the jungle. What was actually happened?? Was that real or just another flashback??

5) Who was Naomi?? Why she was special?? ..and why do they have a "ghost whisperer" on the helicopter??

Thank you.

1. The device was jamming the radio signal and they couldn't use the phone that Naomi had on her when she parachuted in.

2. The part with Hurley and the car chase was a flash-forward not a flash-back. He told Charlie he wasn't real because he knows Charlie is dead, and thought he was an hallucination.

3. When Ben shot Locke, he fell into the pit where the Dharma people were buried; he then had a vision of Walt, much taller, telling him he had to get up because he had work to do. This is the last episode of Season 3.

4. The plane underwater is intended to confuse. We all know the plane did not go down in the water, that it landed on the Island. Therefore, someone must have *put* it in the water and planted the bodies - remember the one guy who said he was a pilot saying that the man identified as the pilot really wasn't.

5. Naomi was the chick who parachuted down in Season 3, the one that Locke shot. She was apparently one of the people hired by the tall Black guy to go to the Island and get Ben. I don't know why she was special, but the Ghost Whisperer will probably tell us eventually. I think the Ghost Whisperer was on the helicopter as part of the team because many of the things that happen on the Island have a supernatural air about them - Walt and Locke had visions; Locke regained the use of his legs. Sun and Jin weren't supposed to be able to have kids, but she got pregnant; then of course, there's the smoke monster. So yeah - a psychic would come in handy on that Island.

1. we dont know what the device was for.
it wasn't pennys boat that naomi was claiming to be from.
this shows naomi to be an imposter.

2. hurley has mental problems. this was a flash forward.
charlies dead so he cant be real.

3. this was in the last series, near the end. we dont see walt saving locke.

4. this is another flash forward. we dont know what its all about yet.

5. naomi was on a helicopter with some other people, including the 'ghost whisperer' - that is all we know. real or not.

bare with the series and im sure the answers will come.

I am just as confused as you are about LOST but that's one of the reasons i watch the show a lot and like it. OK.....

1. The device was blocking them from talking to anybody on the radio so that's why charlie went down there to undo it so they could talk to people off of the island. I don't know what the message is.

2. that was a flash forward not a flashback. They were in the future and I'm pretty sure it was all real. Hurley was one of the 6 that got off of the island. I don't know if Charlie is really dead or alive.

3. I think that that episode occured in the season finale or the first episode of the new season. After Locke got shot, he was still alive and Walt just appeared out of nowhere and started talking to him.

4. I'm confused about this one too. I don't know the answer to this one but I'm pretty sure that that was a flash forward.

5. I don't know who Naomi is but she was the main person who was supposed to go on the helicoptor.

OK, I hope your not so confused now.

1. Supposedly, it was to turn off the transmittor blocker so other people can get a lock on their position. The message 'Not Penny's boat' meant that even though Charlie got in immediate contact with Penny, she knew nothing about the boat that was supposedly coming to rescue them. We don't know yet if that message was important to season 4.

2. Its not a flashback, it is definitely a flash-forward, however, we don't know yet if Hurley is hallucinating or if there is some truth in his meeting Charlie again.

3. This was in Season 3, I believe just before the season finale, or it might have been the season finale.

4. I have a theory. Its not the real plane. Because during the flash-forward with that helicopter guy, he noted that the pilot in the underwater wreckage is not the real guy, so I don't know for sure, but I don't think its the actual wreckage, and just planted there for unknown reasons.

5. Nobody knows who she is yet, same thing for the 2nd question. We'll all find out sooner or later I imagine.

1. The device was a scrambling device so no one could see the island, last message was that is was not Penny's boat, important b/c they think the boat is there to rescue them but what are they really there for?

2. Charlie died, so that's why he was saying you are not real, the car crash was real and he is just seeing things.

3. It happened when Ben shot him and he fell into the hole of skeletons by the Cabin b/c Ben knew he heard "The Man" in the cabin. Not sure exactly what episode. Sorry.

4. That's TV for ya, I noticed the same thing.

5. Naomi was on the boat, they hand picked these different people to be on the boat for certain reasons, I am not sure what their purpose is yet, I DVR'd last nights episode so hopefully it answers some questions.

Hope this helps.

1.
Charlie turned off a transmitter blocking signals to and from the island. The message was from himself to desmond saying it was not pennys boat so be careful of the new people as they are lying.

2.
it's a flash forward to where hurley is away from the island in another institute and charle is dead. The guy from oceanic is trying to locate the others and the island, as everyone stays behind, bar the Oceanc 6: kate, hurley, jack, sayid, sun and jin, oh and kate and sun pregnant.

3.
this happened at the end of last series and we DO see it happen. Walt has been seen many tmes by many people, each time is comes across as dead or older. When the others had Walt they remarked on an ability for walt to be in more than one place at a time.

4.
This is a cover up by the oceanic company claiming they are all dead and they found them. In reality the losties crashed and no one can find them. Kinda like lost n the bermuda triangle but in the pacific ocean.
The lost Island is the garden of eden. Hence the non prenancies, ghosts, jacob, the smoke etc etc.

5.
Naomi was covert ops sent by either widmore or paik under the guise of oceanic. In reality though they are searching for the island and ts powers. They have a ghost whisperer for the reason of the island s what it is.

Remember Losts main themes are: mythology and supernatural.

1. Charlie went to turn off the device that was blocking the radio tower soundwaves or something like that. It was so that the survivors could call out on Naomi's phone. His final message to Desmond was that "Not Penny's boat" because Desmond would know that Naomi was lying for saying that she was sent to rescue them and hired by Penny. This is important because the survivors would know that they "rescurers" have a different agenda.
2. Hurley's chase scene and hospital stay is a flash forward. This happens after they get rescued. By then, Charlie is dead so that is why he is not real.
3. When John said that Walt visited him, this was in the premiere of Season 4. John looked up from the pit of dead bodies and saw Walt there telling him to get up. We never really see Walt telling him about the rescuers.
4. The airliner in the ocean is probably a hoax brought on by Oceanic Airlines. Since we know they crashed on the island, the airline probably wanted to let everyone know they found the bodies so they staged a fake crash in the ocean. This is only a theory because the show has not said yet.
5. Naomi was sent to train the rescuers. Season 4 is still being pieced together for the viewers so we won't know why until later on.

Hope this helps.

1) He went to turn of the device that was jamming all signals off the island so the survivor's could use Naomi's phone to call for rescue. Charlie knew he was supposed to die and gave his life to give the survivor's the chance for rescue. His last message to Desmond was "not Penny's boat" which meant that Penny wasn't on that freighter after all and the "rescue team" weren't as they claim to be. Naomi fooled everyone.

2)This was a flash forward not a flash back. Hurley is one of the Oceanic six and for whatever reason he is struggling to get on with life after getting off the island. He knows Charilie is dead but keep sseeing him so he thinks he is losing his mind and happily goes to the mental institiution. The tall black guy is the one that sent the "rescue team" with Naomi supposedly watching out for them.

3) Ben shot Locke and he fell in the grave full of Dharma people. Locke couldn't move his legs and was starting to give up when Walt appeared taller and a bit older. Walt told Locke to get up because he had work to do. Locke did. We haven't seen Walt since. He was supposed to be off the island with michael, his dad. This was the season finale last season.

4) The fact that a whole plane was at the bottom of the ocean is a red flag that a major cover up is going on. We don't know the details of this yet and will find out in the future. But it wasn't the original Oceanic 815 plane.

5) Naomi claimed to be working for Penny who has been searching for Desmond. She even had a picture of Penny and Desmond. We know now that they are not a rescue team but a team sent in to look for Ben. The tall black guy that came to the institution to see Hurley was the one who sent them there. We do not know at this point what they want with Ben but the ghost whisperer guy seemed really hell bent on finding Ben. Even more so than the others. I imagine a ghost whisperer would come in handy with all of the strange happenings on that island which of course leads you to believe that the tall African American guy knows that the island ahs "special" qualities about it otherwise why would he choose who he did?

Hope this helps! I love this show!!
