The Oceanic Six are the ones brought back from the island, the others all stayed behind for some reason.
I'm thinking it's too easy for it to be Claire and the baby making up the final two. Remember Michael and Walt are still missing--or on the boat already (Bet they're the 'man inside' that Ben talked about--since he already brainwashed Michael).
Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid we know about so far. I don't think Sawyer is going to want to go back. But the Korean couple--now that's what I bet are the final two.

I love and hate this show all at once!! So much information that I have no idea how to process!
I just keep wondering if the flash forwards are really the end? You know, b/c Desmond did have a vision of the future where Penny saves them. So maybe some people do go back to the island. I just don't know anymore. lol :)
I hate to open this can of worms for ya, hon. But the show never said that the Oceanic 6 was referring to the number of survivors. The six might refer to the number of people who escaped the island or maybe the number of people responsible for the rescue (heroes). I think the show just wants us to think that the six is referring to the number of survivors so that they can surprise us again later.
i was assuming one of the 6 would be sawyer but now i am not so sure because he said he has nothing to go back to. i don't understand how kate can go back when she is facing jail time. i think a lot of the survivors will stay on the island by choice. the baby might have to stay because he is "special". to answer your question i just don't know although i have a few ideas.
The last two I think are Jin and Sun.
Many think or hope that it will be Claire and Aaron-- but the reason I don't think so is because Charlie comes back to tell Hurley that "they" need him. I think he is referring to those still on the island, particularly Claire and her baby. We know how much Charlie cares for Claire, and I think she and Aaron are the only people he would come back to haunt Hurley for.
Just my guess.
