They have announced that the show will be returning in the fall for season 3. There's only time to produce a few episodes this season, and that's not enough for a complete story arc, so they're choosing instead to get an early start on filming for fall.
Season 2 will probably be on DVD around August.
1. Unfortunately, Heores is finished for this season.
2. So, I think when it finally does air again it'll be season 3.
