Cuz there is no money in music anymore. Downloading have hurt the business so they need to do those dumb shows to make money and stay "famous".
because they can't make as much money making music anymore, now that few people actually buy cd's. the digital revolution has killed their music profits.
Reality shows = more money
Because they are SELL OUTS!
Because Of All This New Technology
And People Stealing Music..........

the information age hasnt hurt the music industry, thats what they want you to think. they choose to do reality shows bc they realize they are crappy musicians usually with only one good song or album that they had help making from the label they might not have even wrote there own song, so what are they to do. well they suck and cant play for crap so they might as well get paid for being a j@ack@ss on tv living up to the whole "rockstar lifestyle" without actually being a "rockstar"
It's easier and more money. I'm sure it's a great ego trip too.
Because their music wasn't ever that good. When you're young, you can get away with making crap just by being enthusiastic. When you're older, that's not possible, so your best option is to do a reality show.
