AMC & GH question?!
Question: AMC and GH are supposed to take place in the same area of the country where they actually have winter weather. Why is it that on GH they are dressing in winter appropriate clothing and on AMC they all look like they are going to a garden party in July. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes I've noticed that but haven't you also noticed that the women wear silky skimpy sweet nothing and then step outside in outside ice cold weather like when Annie stepped outside on her balcony to find Ryan barefoot and topless standing outside and enjoying the snowflakes falling on him and then Annie goes out and joins him in the snow covered balcony in her skimpies; c'mon....that doesn't happen in real life, that's fantasyland.
Btw both GH and AMC are shot in NYC.

In soaps, you are supposed to suspend reality. How else can you explain people back from the dead, who's the daddy and everything else we are supposed to believe!
I guess because the ladies on AMC want to flaunt their stuff all year round! They are going more for style than reason.
isnt amc filmed in n.y and g.h in l.a? its smtng that i was wondering too. these girs are so skinny u would figure that they would be freezing their butt off in the cold but they walk around in tank dresses and high heal sandals. gh stylists have common sense would be the obvious answer to ur question.
well i dont no where all my childern is casue i dont watch that but gh is in north new york and it snows like nuts there and get colder then anything
actually it is oltl and amc that are in the same place.they both take place in Pennsylvania..gh takes place in New York which is why it is colder there.
Yep....Cookie Monster is correct...But yet in still, it is cold in Pennsylvania in the winter....They just want us to suspend reality and concentrate on the fashion and not the weather.
I thought that AMC took place in Pine Valley, which is close to NYC somewhere, and GH was somewhere in California. Doesn't that make more sense when you see the weather differences between the two shows?
AMC has done that for years. It's crazy! I'm in Texas and it's too cool here to be dressing like that, so you know those women should realistically be freezing their tails off in those skimpy outfits.
Because the writers and costumers on AMC treat their actresses like sl***s. Also OLTL. GH is in NY, AMC and OLTL are in PA, but on AMC and OLTL they dress like they live in Jamaica. And just so you know, you're not the only one to notice it - fans have been complaining for years, but of course no one at AMC or OLTL listens to or cares about what fans think. Maybe that's why the ratings are dropping.
Doesn't everyone wear a sleeveless cocktail dress to the office in the winter? lol
It's been mentioned before and we notice, but we can't do anything about it.
