I hardly watch TV these days. But I have to agree with you, it is rubbish.
I do like a good wildlife programme, The Sky at Night.
Some, not all documentaries can be quite interesting.
What does get my goat is the news-casters. They are such drama-queens - and that includes the men.
They jump about in their seats like 5-year-olds in the classroom, and actually think that they are somebody important.
Why don`t they just give the news and stop fecking posing all the time.
And don`t get me started on that utter TOSSER Jeremy bloody Kyle.

Yeah like the first answer, it has always been. Mind you I am watching a program at the minute called "TV Is Dead" (ironic isn't it). Makes me glad I am not a housewife who actually has to watch this drivel when they want to relax. Hope you get better soon.

Absolutely - when they started putting programmes on in the day.
I always enjoy Bargain Hunt though. And programmes featuring people tramping round looking for a house at least aren't offensive.

Depends on what you mean. Most of it is low-budget stuff. I'm old enough to remember when there was no daytime tv, and only a limited number of radio stations. Suggest you log on to bbc i-player, or to tvcatchup.com and check out programmes which you may have missed.
