Actors and better roles?!
Question: Are you tired of actors always complaining about wanting more of a challenge when they decide to leave a soap role. They love their character but it's just time to move on--for a few months then they come back!

well I don't know how much soap stars make, but if you are a main character In a movie than you could make a bundle for one movie. now soaps on the other hand is a job that is on a regular basis. Not for sure how often they tape but just like another job it is the same job over and over. Movies happen and then new movie. I understand how a soap star might get board and want to try something new. But instead of killing them off and the bring them back to life all the time they could just have them leave town for a while.

Yes, You would think they would rather just work!
yes and no. i can understand their plight cuz sometimes their sl's are so ridiculous or they are under-utilized. sometimes its not just about the money butthe job, maybe they really love acting and want to show their skill(or lack thereof) and they are not being given the chance.
Can't say I blame them especially when they're forced to go along with shi tty storylines. Some go on to bigger and better things and even become big movie stars y'know and those who don't make it might return to soaps.
