I heard that the writers strike for "the office" is over. is this true!

Question: If all goes well, the strike should be over soon. The vote that ends today (Tuesday) is not actually for the strike to be over, but a lift for the show runners to resume work again on Wednesday. The real vote to finalize the deal will be in about a week.

"If the strike-ending vote passes, the writers will return to work on Wednesday. And as a show of good faith, many powerful show runners -- the writer/producers who are in charge of scripted television series like "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI" -- will return to work today to resume their non-writing duties (editing, for example).

Once the strike officially ends, the television networks will have some complicated decisions to make about which shows to put back into production, and for how many episodes."

As for The Office, "If the strike is called off, we are planning to do another six episodes this season," said Greg Daniels, show runner for NBC's "The Office."

From other articles I've read, they will air in April/May.

I wish....its not

I think I heard the writers strike was ending last night, they had gotten the best deal from the producers that they had been offered in ten years; hope so, I can't wait for a new Saturday Night Live!

Edited; A deal has been struck, it must still be voted on. Check out this link, they expect the vote to pass.
