What did you think of last nights deal of no deal?!

Question: They had this lady on the show who was complaining about not having enough money and having to hauck her engagement ring to pay bills. She starts off with something like 10 million dollar squares. The show is going and she gets offers up to like $200K. Then she has a good run but she still has more small dollar amounts then she does large dollar amounts. So the odds are against her winning a $1 million. She gets an offer of $266K which is right about what you would expect. Then the guy in the box makes her a ridiculous offer to double the amount to $532K if she kisses a frog. Keep in mind the odds are against her to win a million. Everyone tells her take the deal. She say no deal. Then she ends up picking all but one of her million dollars. She walks away crying with $167k. She blew it so badly I couldn't believe it. Then she had a little daughter and she could have really helped her daughter. Why did she get so greedy?

HA! I would have married the frog for $532K!!! Oh, wait...I did that for free!

I saw it too. I would have kissed the damn frog. People get greedy. Everyone thinks that a million dollars would set them for life, and it really wouldn't. After you pay taxes on that money you only get about half. Don't get me wrong, it is a life changing amount of money, but not enough to not have to worry about money anymore.

167K is still nothing to snub your nose. In my city that is enough to BUY a nice house, and still have 50K to live on. To answer your question though, it really is the "Lottery Syndrome:" Let me get as much free money as I can.

So she got an offer of more than $100k over what the average square was worth and refused to kiss a frog to take it? Terrible decision IMO.

Greed.I would have kissed a dozen frogs for that kind of money. What did her case hold ,I missed the show.

hi how r you today, yes I saw deal or no deal and i agree she was very greedy, she got what she deserved. Some people don't realize quit when there are ahead of the game.they always think there is more money around the corner.and there never is. people are very stupid, and very greedy. if you really want to see a crazy show try seeing the Moment of truth, its on wed at 9;00 on channel 5 . you haven't seen nothing yet.....have fun
