Tony got hit by a bus at the end of the last series, he has lost some of his memory etc. as a result. Maxxie has been in the show since the start of the first series. Tony was on the phone to Michelle about to tell her how he was sorry and he loved her as he was going out with her a bit before when he got hit by the bus at the end of last series.
