I loved that show when it came on. Jerry O'Connell was good in it, as was the Professor (he was in the 1st Indiana Jones show).

As pointed out - once it hit the Sci-Fi channel, not all the cast made it over. Kari Wuher was also not that good in it (she was good on MTV's "Remote Control" in the 1980's - that is all). And, the Kromaggs story line just really screwed up the entire show. After that, it was never as good as when itw as a network show.
For a while there - the Sci-Fi Channel really had a history of screwing things up. When Stargate SG1 transferred over, everyone was initially worried that it may suffer the same fate as Sliders. But thankfully, it didn't.
Pretty sure that show was cancelled quite a few years ago... although it's re-run in syndication.
The first few seasons were quite fun & enjoyable -- I didn't care for the weird alien-invasion twist they threw in during the last couple of seasons on cable-tv.
Yeah it was a good show, till the Sci-Fi channel got a hold of it.
