With writers strike ending will the remaining episodes of LOST be shot and aired!

Question: Or will they be tacked on to next season?

Answers: Or will they be tacked on to next season?

I have been reading the news reports, and it looks like there is a chance they may film another 4-5 episodes and air them this season.

The episodes have been written, but couldn't be filmed without the writers there. Now, if the strike ends tomorrow (officially), there is a good chance we won't be left hanging after the originally scheduled 8 shows.

"Although the exact details are being worked out right now, "Lost" fans should expect their favorite show to be back in production on more episodes in just a couple of weeks. And while we may not see the full 16 that we were promised, given the number of weeks left for filming, the number 13 crops up in most reports."

We can only hope for such good fortune....They should be making an announcement in the next couple of days or so!

go question

What remaining episodes? they are scheduled to air the 8 episodes that had been shot and produced before the writers strike, any other episodes that they shoot and produce have no chance of making it into this season. As far as them tacking it unto next years schedule, thats not gonna happen either, we the fans basically get screwed out of half a season.

Most series are only going to get to shoot 5-6 episodes to air staring in April. Lost has a more difficult time filming because of their location requirements. Don't be surprised if they don't get any new ones filmed for Spring.

TIME WILL TELL MY FRIEND. WE ALL ARE WAITING PATIENTLY AND HOPE THAT WE WILL GET A WHOLE SEASON

"As for Lost (pending the actual lifting of the strike, which we vote for on Tuesday), a game plan should begin to manifest by the end of the week. All I can say is that Carlton and I and the rest of the writers have every intention of making sure you guys get more episodes this season beyond the eight already completed. How many and how they will be aired is a conversation we'll be having with our bosses, but as soon as we've got a plan, we'll tell the fans first."

What We're Hearing: Lost's actors are on standby, and the show is expected to produce more episodes this season."
