The Real World/Road Rules Challenge..rules?!

Question: What are the rules and regulations behind RW/RR challenge or gauntlet or whatever it is called, I am watching it and do not understand what is going on, a boys and girls team? They have 2 teams red and blue, where are these boys and girls team coming from? Electing one of there own teammates to face off an a elimination round? WHY! Any other things that I need to know about would be greatly appreciated.

The Gauntlet or Inferno or Duel..etc..are where people get elimanted.

The Inferno and the Duel are different teams.
Fresh Meat is another challenge and it also has different teams.

I think your talking about the season now which is the Gauntlet 3. so;

Gauntlet:
Red Team are the Vets, those who have been on 2 or more challenges.
Blue Team are the Rookies, those who have done 1 or none challenges.

The girls and guys are coming from the Real World, Road Rules, and some are from Fresh Meat.
Fresh Meat kids are people who either auditioned for the real world or road rules but MTV decided to put them on the challenge (Fresh Meat).

They compete against each other because they want to kick off people and the more or less people they have at the end can determine wether who wins the final challenge.

example;
Eric (300 pound guy on the Vets team) is wanted by the Rookies to be there at the end because the Rooks know that Eric could/would hold back the team from getting far at the end challenge.

another example;
Tyrie (280 pound guy on the Rooks) is wanted by the Vets to stay because he could hold back the team at the final challenge. But Tyrie ends up going home because of family issues. The Rookies had no idea how to get rid of him, so with him gone they have a better chance on winning the whole challenge.

If you have anymore questions, add me to your contacts and ask me anything you want during the rest of the season. I know all the kids(by their seasons) so if you want to know anything let me know. I love the challenges so I know alot about them.

it depends what season your talking about, they all vary..this season is the gauntlet rookies vs veterans..in each epsisode is a males and females gauntlet..go to mtv.com and watch this seasons episode one maybe that will make it easier for you to understand
